Ann and Steve

The colors had bled so badly in this photo that this was the best I could do with it.  I hope you'll like it anyway.

Family gathering at Wasdens July 15 1951.

I resurrected this one a bit. Priceless image. Norman must have taken photo. Taken just after I left Penrose to go back to Laramie and try to replace all my jobs I lost when I went home in March to help get the field work done.  Grandpa's granary and tractor shed in back on the left; high corral pole gate in the background; Oscar's prize Chrysler by the fence.  Three Wasden sisters: Elna, Minnie, Lucinda.

Three Bloods on a Fence Rail

I've been working on old picture files for want of anything new to photograph.  I didn't take this photo but fixed it a bit.

Down by the River

We are getting boring and hard up for new things. And I haven't contributed for a long time.
So here is Louise all grown up - pre-marriage, and she and I and Judy went down to the river (Shoshone) in the middle of winter to see what we could see. Was this supposed to be a pin-up pose? I don't really know, but sitting ont he ground in the snow had to be uncomfortable. Enlarge this one.

Time for Garden Catalogs

Kemp and Sonja found this gladiola cataloge inside a book that Dad had given to Sonja's family.

I couldn't find the year, but look at those prices! I had a good time looking through the colored pages and trying to make some choices if...........I were going to plant some this spring.

Happy New Year: Something Bright and Beautiful, Something Frosty and Beautiful

I decided to freshen us all up a bit for the New Year.  We all have problems and issues, but we can now put 2011 behind us, remembering the good and forgetting the bad.  Today and tomorrow are what count.  Happy New Year and much love to all.
