My solution was to put on short socks underneath the ugly long socks and then take off the long socks on the school bus and then I would stuff them in my coat pocket until the end of the day. The undershirt deal was fairly mild for me - with the resistance of older sisters, I was not held to such a high standard for as long as others, so it seems.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06652616779595499610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4114307744147144762.post-44820856015340793982010-05-12T07:49:45.549-06:002010-05-12T07:49:45.549-06:00Boy, oh boy, do I remember that statement from mot...Boy, oh boy, do I remember that statement from mother. At age 23 with 3 babies, each 1 year apart, living 2 days away from home, I found great comfort in those words. But getting back to Louise, she is the calm leader of us all. I'm sure happy that Elizabeth got to go visiting!Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09288597968563641842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4114307744147144762.post-48752505871971159922010-05-10T09:42:39.768-06:002010-05-10T09:42:39.768-06:00Smile, you're on candid camera. What you said about welding my family was very sweet, but I do no more than what each of my siblings do to keep strong family ties. I will ever be grateful for Mother's influence in helping us to keep a closeness in our family relationships. I will always remember her saying how she wished the distance between each of us could be shortened.
