The neat thing about memories is we can make them whatever works for us at any particular time and place. And it does seem as though the little chair was in our house at Penrose forever. The surmise about the little blu...What a treasure! The surmise about the little blue chair is an interesting one. I guess I always thought it was a leftover from Mother's early teaching, but this makes more sense. She painted it cobalt blue, and added white chair leg protectors to keep from scratching the hardwood floor in Washington.
