I LOVED that crocheted cap/beanie/beautiful hat. And the sailor blouse and pants were another favorite. Maybe that is why I always wanted a "sailor" collar on dresses and blouses as I grew older. The only way I got them was to sew them, but I was able to do just that, thanks to Mother's willingness to let me experiment. Poor cat!
