Tucked in the back of Grandpa Wasden's Yellowstone National Park Journal I discovered this very faint photo. On the back there is a note that says Mellen Arch Bridge. Strangely the faint writing looks like Mother's.
I put the description of how they poured the concrete for this bridge on an earlier (much earlier) post. It was quite a feat, and Grandpa was very proud of it. By the way, Judy up at 1:26, and Ann rising at 6:17. Who was up late and who up early?
How did they know how to do this without all of today's wonderful technology? Great picture. Keep going, Ann.
ReplyDeleteJudy, you must have had a really good night last night?? The time of your posting speaks volumes.
