Yes, the little boy is Robert Allgeier. This was taken at the same time as the photo of Dad and Robert sitting on the lawn. I think that one has been posted, but I will check.
Roscoe died in February of 1917, so 1916 would be the summer and the fall that Dad was in Carnyville. He went to some school in the fall with Robert and Stanley. He looked on this time as being very special, because Rose was so kind to him, and he enjoyed his cousins.

Where was Carneyville in Wyoming? I recently obtained a handwritten commercial postcard from the Carney Coal Company postmarked 1912, Carneyville WYO. I can't find Carneyville on Wyoming state maps or by searching Google Maps.
John, we didn't mean to ignore your question about Carneyville. If you Google "where is Carneyville WY" you'll get a bunch of information. Carneyville mine was 9 miles north of Sheridan WY. The town apparently died in 1924, but originally had about 2000 people there and 150 to 200 houses.
Is the little boy one of Rose's children? Does the picture say?
