The note on the back of this is unfamiliar handwriting, but it says "Russell M. Blood at Dewey Riddle Ranch about 1930"
There is no note on the back of this photo, but it shows Mother and her cute car (I am assuming that is her car) so well.
Do you think Dad was happy or was he proving a point? Same car in the background.

Minnie, Russell, Judy
This photo is one that we would probably delete if we took it today with a digital camera. The original was quite dark, and this is the best I could do with all the photo tweaking stuff I know about. Probably a professional photo restorer could do better. I didn't take this one; Liz, maybe? And where is it? Pine trees in background? But aren't you glad we still have this photo, for all its imperfections? Our discussion seems to be thinning out.

A Fun Discovery
Steve will be able to fill us in on the history of the furniture and the lamp. When I talked with him, he told me all kinds of things I didn't know about this world Dad and Mom lived in during the Molesworth years.
Wouldn't Dad have been in awe to think that there are people out in the world who treasure his work to the extent that it is considered a treasure for them. I think this is just another tribute to our Father who never really knew how beautiful his work was, and to Mother who encouraged and supported him in doing something he loved to do.
