Doesn't that bring back memories - sometimes we got off the schoolbus at Shumway's corner and walked home if the weather was nice. If Dad had been "spreading", you could smell the pungent odor wafting over the spring air. And, for years, he did use Pet and Babe with the manure spreader.
Busy, busy, busy. Perhaps it is the memory of the spring outdoor smell, or a reminder of the hard work that went into making things grow in the Wyoming bog clods, or - - -, I just don't have much to add, other than how this photo shows what an amazing story of survival living in that world was for us and still is for some others.

And look, these horses match in color! I am happy to know that some people know how to do it right.
I'm disappointed that the manure spreader witih the team is not evoking more comments.
