Thank you! The sniffles and the tender reminder are a great way to start the day.
Oh my gosh, we left Fort Collins for Ann Arbor in 1956 in an old Ford, a 2 year old and a week old baby, no money, no place to stay if we ever got there. And how many more times did we do the same thing, an old car, a U-Haul trailer, a batch of kids, no money. What did we think we were doing? We thought we knew and we figured we could make it. Which we did. Great story but so, so close to home.
P.S. sniffle sniffle and wipe the tears.
And somehow we all made it to today. It's a miracle.
What a nice reminder. Now, do we have to look up the talk so that we can learn how he made it? And there is a sniffle, too.
There is no place to add a comment about your new picture at the top, so this is it. Mother dearly loved the columbine flowers. Judy has a white one that Mother had in her garden. One of my tiny gardens is devoted to columbines just because they give such delight. I always thought they were a fairy flower. Thanks for the double pleasure of your picture.
