This is not a great photo, but it does show the pole chair and the recovering job Mother had done on the cushions. This was the last time I was in the Tumwater house. I had taken the train to Olympia to see Dad before we left for Ohio. The stacks of books must be something that is a genetic trait, just ask Velna about Dwight's stacks.

What a great picture! Mom must have taken this one. Notice the newspaper on the stack to the my left? Could that be a PT? Wish I could identify the rest of the books.
Great picture. Remember the tussle when Mother took the cushions apart (Penrose) and retied the springs that were in the bottom cushion. She always figured out how to do things - this cover was quite a change from the old blue cover. Ann, glad you have this picture.
