What were you doing putting a picture on the blog at 12:27 a.m.? You should be asleep in bed. I can spot quite a few of the "oldies", Burchell, Ruby, Francie, Beulah Faye, etc., but I'm still searching for family. I would have been home that summer, but don't see me - where are you, Judy, Ann, Steve? Mother, Daddy? Let us in on the secret.
Okay, I think I see Gene Christensen in the back, and Diana Johnson to his right. That must be me in the old gabardine - and it looks like Louie to my left - Ann partially hidden? Where are you again, Judy? We need to sit down with this picture and really go over it. I see so many - Veda Terrill, Lenore Lewis, etc., etc.
And is that Mickey Welton (sp) in the back row? This is stretching my brain, even from Petaluma! 12:27 a.m.? You must have posted this with a delay attached. Hope all is well.
I could not spell when I looked at this the last time. Louise to my right. Where are Judy, Ann, Steve????? We've got to milk this for all it's worth. But you're right, Ann, the shadowy short figure to Francie Cozzen's left is definitely Mother, bun and all. She didn't get her hair cut until 1955. Why couldn't we all stand together as a family?
Boy, you all have better eyesight and memories than I do. I need help, I can't pick out any one, which is why I haven't gotten into this conversation. Maybe I'll have to have someone quide me over the phone.

I can find Dad, Ann, me and you. Mom must have been too short. "You just didn't look hard enough." How many times have you heard or said that one?
