So here is Louise all grown up - pre-marriage, and she and I and Judy went down to the river (Shoshone) in the middle of winter to see what we could see. Was this supposed to be a pin-up pose? I don't really know, but sitting ont he ground in the snow had to be uncomfortable. Enlarge this one.

So cold!
Please don't get bored! I'm a long-time lurker and love this blog. My great grandparents were Tilda and James Brooks (my grandfather was David Wasden and my dad is Tom Wasden, which I guess would make us all first cousins once removed (I had to look that up on google)). Growing up I spent some time in Cody and even attended the 1974 Wasden reunion. I love hearing these stories about Penrose and family life from a different perspective. Keep it up!
Look what greeted me this morning! A great picture of the youthful Louise and Dwight's beatiful and colorful flowers! Those were a happy sight. Yes, flowers do have the power to lift and renew.
To the first cousin once removed (David Wasden/Tom Wasden/Anonymous), welcome to our world full of growing up memories. As we have gone on this journey over the past several years, it has been nice to make a few family connections. Keep reading, and we will try to keep sharing a little more about the lives we have been blessed to live. Let us know if you are still checking in.
