Offering a calf something out of a bucket, whilst wearing a skirt does not equate to thinning beets. However, give Judy credit for being in the field. And sew, she certainly can. She is a master seamstress! This is the only picture of the old treadle sewing machine that Mother used and taught us all how to sew while pumping our feet and guiding the fabric. Thank you, Steve. Very nice pictures. How many more do you have?
The calves would lick our hands and we would laugh about how rough they felt. The skirt is one I always admired. The bottom photo is one I took. How Steve got it is a mystery. Judy is sewing a blue suit she wore on the train when she went to see Bob that summer before they got married.Fun photos. Steve, are you going through photos since you can't get to the shop in the snow? Keep going!

Oops - no bucket - just holding out a hand to the curious calf. Was this picture posed?

Sorry, it was their tongues that felt rough not the calves. Edit, edit, edit!
