The picture is inside out. I took this picture at Valley Ranch when we went with Mother up to either interview or look over her new home away from home while she taught there (Southfork - west of Cody, Wyoming) during the year of 1955-56. it was beautiful up there, but don't suppose it was always hospitable during the hard winter she spent there, trying to get home on weekends. Memories!
I just stuck this up on the spur of the moment since Judy is having trouble posting photos on her blogs; I didn't necessarily intend to leave it there since it has probably been posted before. No one but you would ever guess it is wrong side out.
At least, not upside down. It's neat to re-post - I have too much trouble trying to run down photos from long ago. We need refreshing now and then.....
Love my hair. I must have just had a permanent. Steve looks so innocent and Judy was very photogenic - at least that is what Dad would say. If I remember right that was the day we went up to check out Mother's living accommodations and the little school house. The fence we are sitting on was in front of Siggins ranch house. That was the beginning of a very long school year. Please leave the photo, Dwight. It is a quick reminder of a long ago time.

Just saw this today. Love what you did with the photo, Dwight, as mine is very faded. Thanks for thinking of all us little kids.
