I took this picture - it's up at Valley Ranch, the day Mother went up to interview for the teaching job, which she took. You've reversed the photo - how'd you do that? It's a shame that the colors from these old pictures became so distorted. That was a lovely spot, but Mother spent many lonely nights at the teacherage, working on countless correspondence courses. If I recall correctly, she only had two (?) pupils. Judy, Ann, Steve? You remember this time well, I know. 1955-56
Kemp must have gotten Judy's computer up and running. What would we do without our in-house support teams? I thought I looked a little smarter with the photo reversed - or maybe it is the really cute hair style that took for ever to accomplish.
I enjoyed the picture when first posted and then from Liz's post see it was at Valley Ranch. I had the opportunity to go up there once with Aunt Minnie. I was helping with milking when every one else was gone and we went up to the school as she was getting it ready for school to start. As I remember when we came back she got a call from Byron and went to teach there. Interesting how I can remember that and not where I left my glasses. Newell

She had the 2 Siggins children and there was a couple of other strays. Reversed or not, Dwight got some good color in this picture.
Judy why are we having to moderate your comments rather than post directly?
