In this morning's Church News, there is a note in the "Milestones of togetherness" column that was a real memory jog for me. It reads: "Orlin and Vada Tirrell were married 70 years ago, on April 24, 1942, in the Logan Utah Temple. They are members of the Ribgy 10th Ward, Rigby Utah East Stake. They have three sons, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild."

Thanks for sharing - we haven't renewed out subscription yet. The last I knew of Orlion and Veda while I lived in Powell was that they were living outside of Lovell on a farm. One of their sons is an orthodontist in Olympia, and went to school with our former stake president's son, Steven Alexander, who is also an orthodontist. Judy knows them well. They were such very nice people!
It is funny when the D. News misspells names.
Ann, they didn't misspell it - I did! Sorry.
I too read that in the Deseret News and it sent me to the internet to find out where to contact them. That directed me to you. My parents were Pat and Faye Fielding. I can remember as a girl going over to Vada's all the time when we also lived in Powell.
