Elizabeth has graduated from "Liz" to "Eliz". That is good. How old is she? Love those pants, sturdy stuff. Where is she hiding her current library book?
P.S. I got carried away. I meant to say that we are forever grateful for all of the Blood family history that Dwight recorded with that simple Baby Brownie camera. No expensive photographic equipment could have performed so well over the years!
By the way, in between washdays Mom brought the clothes pin bag into the house and put it in the closet off the kitchen where the washing machine was. Probably so the magpies wouldn't roost on it.

Again, August of 1947, ready to begin 7th grade, and 12 years old! How sophisticated can you get?

And the smile tells it all. Life was good, as far as we knew.
