I couldn't possibly tell Elizabeth why or where she fell off the train. Steve, you will have to do that....unless Dwight has the answer. Where is Louise these days....time to get with us.
Sorry, I don't have the inside "track" (get it? -train... - never mind. ) as to how Steve knew about the job. What did Steve mean when he said "Judy had the answer?" Answer to what? Lovell could probably use a good town manager.

Hurry, Dwight. Just show them your resume!
Ah, but it's not Ralston. A poor second.
If it were Ralston, Garland, Deaver, Cowley, or Otto, I might consider applying.
But Lovell is too big-time for my tastes.
I didn't know Lovell had/has a town manager. Sounds like a prime opportunity. Perhaps they would even throw in managing the HyArt Theater, as well.
OHHHHH. of course
The big question is: Why would Steve even know of the available position?
He must know a guy!?
clever Judy
Will someone please ask Steve THE question?
This just seems naughty.
Steve, how did we move to "naughty"? Why? How? Where did I fall off the train?
Judy has the answer.

I fell off the train - a loooong time ago.
There she is! Louise, why did Steve know about the job in Lovell?...now that you are back on the train.

Louise....let's move up the road going west...toward the park....what's there?
Penrose?
Warmer, but not hot enough.
Oh, I gotcha, Ralston
You are almost there!
Okay, Cody. (I was just trying to keep things going.) Now back to the question about how Steve knew about the job in Lovell?
Details, details, details!
