I can't remember what kind of tree this was, but it supplied welcomed shade from the summer heat, and this frosty beauty in winter.
I have always loved this picture.
The icing on the trees was always so spectacular. It seemed as though the mornings after were extra quiet and when the sun hit, everything sparkled like diamonds. The magic of a life that holds such warm memories never wears off.
Chineese elm? I think that's all we had around the house except for the Russian Olive by the barn.
I think you are right, Steve. (again)
It was always lovely when the fog came from the river and left a shiny, glittery, frosty surface on everything.
Yes to the Chinese Elm.
I never knew Chinese - just elm.
