Aren't we having fun? Another coal black negative that has a memorable picture underneath. Skin tones aren't great, but would you delete this picture? Absolutely not. I'll leave you all in suspense until the next one comes along.
I just remember that Paul was too sick to attend this Johnson/Wasden Reunion. That's probably why Ann isn't in this picture. She had gone home to check on him.
Unless - if it is the Wasden/Johnson thingy, then I am "busy". Paul was there for this one. It was Dwight's retirement party when Paul was fighting the miserables as a result of chemo.
This was Dwight's retirement party. Louise and I presented him with the family memory quilt that she dreamed up, we both sewed and quilted with help from Cheryl. The quilt was at my house in the basement, and we spent time together quilting - I have more pictures of this event, including the one of Dwight with the quilt, with an unknown person holding it up. It was a Blood family reunion - Ann was there, as was her children, grandchildren, etc. I have to look for Paul. And I do remember that Judy was wearing a denim skirt or jumper - looking very chic.
It was Dwight's Retirement Party because I hunted down some other photos taken at Dwight's retirement party and you are wearing these clothes. There is another photo where I am wearing a ghastly yellow knit top. So thankful to not be in this photo. Name tags are always a good idea - or not. Whose idea was that?
For all those who are waiting with baited (?) breath for me to comment- here goes. The picture WAS at Dwight's retirement party- after checking my scrapbook - and the name tags were because there were family members we hadn't seen for ages. Wasn't it a grand party?
I think I believe Louise, BUT maybe the clothes are the same as some other pictures, because those are the only clothes we might have. I still wear that denim jumper, so if we had a get together this next summer, I would probably wear it, and that would continue to confuse the issue!

That was Dwight's "retirement" party when Louise gave him his quilt.

I am more confused than when we started. Who's on first?
Plus did we need name tags for Dwight's retirement party? Just saying....

Or was it the Wasden reunion?

Hi Louise!
