A quick perusal of this morning's online Powell Tribune tells us that the most important news item, of interest to all of us, but particularly to Dwight, is that the weekend of Father's Day is also Mule Days in Ralston. This could be a very important weekend for mule lovers all over the United States. There will even be an auction, so that if you want, you can have your very own mule to tether in the back yard - but not if you already have chickens.

What's the difference between a mule and a donkey?
This should get interesting.
A donkey can and a mule can't. Although as I was looking for a photo of a mule, one that I ran across said that it was a new born donkey standing with its mule mother.Hmmm, now that is a miracle!
a mule is a cross breed
And a donkey isn't?
I don't think we've had a clear explanation yet. Steve? Ann? Scudda Ho, Scudda Hay
Did you know that you can buy that movie?
Lon McCallister and June Haver? One of the few shows we got to see - I remember them all. It was a l-o-v-e story.
It seems like we were in love with Lon McCallister. I had totally forgotten about that movie. Thanks for bringing it back to memory. Where can one buy it?
P. S. Are we settled yet on the mule/donkey?
So, not meaning to be dumb/ignorant/unknowing/or perhaps I never cared, what is a Scudda Ho, Scudda Hay. It's a movie you say? And I must have missed out on Lon McCallister. Does that mean I wasn't old enough to get to see a movie that was a love story? How does it compare to Downton Abbey?
Mules - donkeys - life must go on.
