If I have posted this previously, forgive. Today is a hot summer day and I was just remembering how these two dry land farmers acted the first time they saw the Pacific Ocean in 1961. I love it! I have just finished copying over the blog into my project, and as I copied the picture of Penrose with the wheat in the field in its neat rows, I thought about the hot days and the hard work the farm was. This picture shows a well deserved opposite.
