Plus I forgot to mention annual Mule Days rodeo, parade, and mule auction, when one lane of highway blocked off for two block long parade, attracts mules from all over the country, a major mule event. Unfortunately, Jimmy Dunton's bar is extinct. I will include further details and advantages of Ralston as I become inspired to mention them. Beats the traffic on I-15 in Salt Lake City, fer sure.

OK, I'm waiting for a deluge of comments after catching heck for ignoring the Penrose blog for a time. But does anyone care about Ralston mule days? And whether I am posting on the blog? Apparently not.
Oho! Stung, by gum! Of course we care - can't carry on without you, your pithy comments and your pictures. As for Ralston Mule Days and the big parade, (for which they used to close the highway for a short time), that's not a thing to get all hot and bothered about - couldn't care less, in fact.
I beg to differ. Nothin like that happens in Preston I betcha.
I told Dwight that Bob Baird always tries to tie his visits to Powell so he can attend Ralston Mule Days. What motivation
