I know, these markers have been posted before but I thought I should post them again. Cheryl cleaned out the weeds on both sides just a few minutes later.
precious few comments after all the foofaraw about my not being on the Penrose blog for months and then working my fingers to the bone for hours and hours. Oh well.
How many would you like? I'm glad that Cheryl cleaned out the extra grass and stuff around Mother and Ddad's headstone. We were frustrated when we were there in May, because we just didn't have any tools in the car to clean them up. Thank you, Cheryl. Well done. Of course, there are more family graves in the vicinity, including my infant grandson, Nicholas Baumer.
Grumbling aside, there have been so many tidbits shared, new family connections made, memories stirred and life in general made better by Dwight's and then other siblings blogging efforts, kudos (or kuddooos, or kuddos, or----whatever). The photos from the Powell/Penrose trip are fun to see and the efforts to put them out there for all of us to enjoy are most appreciated. Even if it took hours and hours - besides Matlock reruns have got to be getting old! I am just thankful Dwight has something to do.

Thanks to Cheryl for cleaning around the markers. And thanks to Dwight for the pictures!
And still wish we could have all been there. These pictures are really appreciated - and the next best thing to being there.
