This salt and pepper set was given to our parents for a wedding present. (I do not know who the giver was. ) While they were small and required frequent refilling, the pretty blue glass earned a place of honor in the white cupboard above the refrigerator. They were used on special occasions and whenever we could talk Mother into letting us use them for a tea party.
Does anyone know any more about them?

I just remember thinking how pretty and small they were. Did we sometimes use them when we had corn on the cob? Fun stuff.
Help me out here, but wsn't it because they were so dainty that we kids came up with an idea for a present for Daddy that would be more to his size for a salt shaker and got him the big white one - was it for his birthday or Father's day? Anyway didn't it become standard equipment from then on?
That is my memory as well.
Just always thought they were special, and the blue very pretty.
