Buford is not to be sneezed at. I have gone by metropolitan Buford hundreds and hundreds of times and have thought each time that Buford would be a great place to retire. It has much less congestion than Ralston and, unlike Ralston, is adjacent to a major transcontinental highway. For entertainment, one can choose equally between the big cities of Laramie and Cheyenne. Let us not cast aspersions on Buford. We could end up there.
I thought you were supposed to be preparing chicken coops, buying expensive chicken feed (which is supposed to be cheap, hence an oxymoron), studying up on eggs, making your environs cat proof, coyote proof, cougar proof, and neighbor proof (for when the biddies cluck too loudly to proudly proclaim their latest accomplishment. buck-buck-buck-baguck!
Buford - 8,000 feet is fortunately too high for me. Otherwise, we'd be standing in line to bid on this one. The wind blows across there like crazy - that's why al lot of Wyoming's snow ends up in Colorado. This will take a very centered person to purchase it.
Steve, there isn't room for a shop - don't even think about it. However, for those retirees who wonder what they're doing in their golden years - here we are!

This should not be listed under nonsense.
