Meet Oliver, He's our new rescue Airedale that's supposed to be coming to our house if all goes well in about a week or so. Some may think that we are nuts but we look at it as therapy.
What a "cute" dog. Is this a rescue dog? Love the name. I don't think you are crazy. But, there is no reason why you can't have both a dog and chickens. I'm just saying ------
But, Ann, you do have both a dog and chickens. And who says that Oliver couldn't learn to herd chickens like Chester does? Steve and Mary Lynn, this looks like the ideal dog for you - One of the advantages of having a dog when it's owner is at a rather advanced age is that the owner(s) can talk to the dog without appearing to be over the hill. We'll hope for you that all will be well, and that he will soon be your dog.

I keep thinking about that face - who could resist it.
