If one will observe the color of the hair and compare it with the color of my hair in the "angel" photo, I believe these are Judy. As much as I longed for the blonde look (tried that in later years and my hair only turned orange/red/brown/ugly)Judy was the only one so blessed - that is between her and me. And my size - Judy was taller than I was, and these would have been taken about the time shortly after I was quite ill, however only the photographer will truly know the time, place and name of the beauty. I believe I will concur with the taker of the photo, not meaning to give little credence to his assistant. But then again, if everyone thinks the person in these photos is photogenic, cute, etc. go ahead and label them "Ann".
PS Do the ship bookends still exist? Would the owner post a photo of them on the blog? Does anyone know the story behind them?
Hey, you're rushing me.
Does this mean you have a schedule for posting photos, ie the bookends? Just trying to keep up the momentum.
Remember, Ann always tucked her feet in a certain way. And, she was too short to sit on the bench and have her feet touch the floor. I concede - both photos are Ann. There. End of controversy. Done. ;-)
There is a chance, not fer sure, that I may have the clipper ship bookends. Will have to check when I come back North. When you have something so indelibly printed on your brain, you never know whether it's imaginary or real, and imaginary becomes real, so who cares?
Is this one of those "I will have the last word on this blog?" If so...
Hey I'm in charge here, thank you.
Ok, you win.
Fake comment. As if.
And when do we find out the true names of the perfectly posed subjects?
