FOUND TREASURES

Found at the bottom of a box, don't know how I missed it.  Who can forget these and the veneer ones attached to the rosewood circles.

Oh, that is a treasure! It is in perfect condition. These were such a big seller as people drooled over the woodwork and had no money, many would settle for a pin. Good job, Steve!

The two years that I had the Christmas craft fair at our house in Tumwater, Dad remodeled the pins and sold lots of them as refrigerator magnets. I still have a couple of them. Memories. Remember that school teachers were often the only people who had any cash in the late '30's and the '40's. They loved the pins, and I can remember giving some of the round rosewood initial pins to teachers for Christmas.
