The pictures on the wall have changed. I wonder what they were? Judy is busy with something and now you can see the stencil on the end of the now blue bed. Books in the bookcase still remain a mystery. This negative is on the same negative strip as the one of Judy at the sewing machine and Steve crawling under the truck.

I see the lamp and the alarm clock, but what else is on the night stand?
This is while you and Judy were still in high school. The picture on the right was a drawing I did from Judy's Brer Rabbit Walt Disney book when I was sick in bed when I was a senior. And I already reminded you of the titles of the books in the bookshelf - surely they didn't change by then?
No no, what is that on top of the bookshelf?
Actually the Walt Disney book was mine. I still have it and it is in fairly good shape considering how much my kids loved hearing those stories read over and over again.
As to the year this was taken, I am wondering if it was 1959, and was Judy writing a letter to someone in Washington. I didn't stencil the bed until Judy had left home so perhaps that helps put a time line to this photo. Books always changed - it just depended on who came home and tucked one in a suitcase when they left! The stenciling was not done very well - I didn't really understand how it should have been done, but Mother and Daddy never criticized my artwork. They just let me do "my thing".
PS. I can't tell what the shiny thing is on top of the night stand, even when I go to the negative. The purse on the bottom shelf was another favorite. Do you remember what the shiny thing is, Judy? Jewelry box? Radio? Also, is that a Banyan (BYU yearbook) on the far right side of the top shelf?
