This is one of those great "memory" pictures. Mother's green (I think) dress/suit was one of her standby's at that time - event tho I was really little, I still remember the dress. Dad was always the skinny, handsome cowboy. This was probably in the days when the sugar beets were planted all around the house - no grass. I wonder how many years the power pole had been there - probably not very many.
The power pole came with the house when it was built in 1943-44. And there was grass where there had been beets for several years after we moved into the house. The dress, a two-piece green, was one of Mother's standbys. She never had very many at a time. Year for this picture?
