There wasn't much inflation in four years. It is interesting that Mother was the child who handled the finances for Grandfather's burial.
Mother had the responsibility for paying the bills, etc. for our grandparents after they moved to Lovell. She budgeted and stretched the money from the farm proceeds to make them as comfortable as possible.
