This is one of the snapshot - scrapbooks that Mother and Dad made during the 1930's to supplement our meager income. They also made ladies' pins. One kind were round, made of rosewood (a very dark wood), with initials cut out of birdseye maple veneer; another kind were cutouts of various bucking broncos with a cowboy on the back (After all, this was Wyoming). School teachers were among the few people who had cash, and these were not expensive items. This one came back to the family via someone in Powell who had it in their possession. The back is laced with a leather lacing.

I loved the different books that were made to sell. I doubt that many are in existence today, which makes yours even more special.
