Can you imagine traveling that far today in a car with four adults and three children. I was 4 years old, Dwight almost 7, and Louise 8. We were used to sitting on laps in the car, or just squeezing in.
I remember sitting in the car and getting really restless. We had just gotten a new Jack and Jill magazine and I remember holding up the cover to the window and pretending I was "advertising" it to cars we passed. It seemed like a long trip and well deserved the "Are we there yet?" question.

How did Grandpa happen to be there? Was Grandma there, as well?
Louise remembers going to Manti with Grandpa and Grandma in their car. That would have been a long trip, but a happy time for grandparents as well.
