It is so fun to see pictures I have never seen before. With the church house and outhouse in the background, this picture holds some neat tidbits. The box? Probably a cat!
Well Ann I'm not sure about your comment . . . hmmmmm. Photo is valuable though because shows proximity of our house to the Penrose church (and outhouse).
That skirt was my first "I made it myself" sewing project. Mother told me she was ready for me to do my own sewing, and then helped with the instruction. I was so grateful for her encouragement. Sewing has been a big deal for all four of us girls.
