Last night at the reception for Dwight's granddaughter, he and I were talking about the amazing amount of historical treasures we have been able to share through the blog. As I was looking through a few things this morning (I am really supposed to be outside planting the flower beds and tomato plants), I found an absolute treasure and wanted to share it.

This is great! They had to go all the way to Basin to get their license? And now we know where they were in Denver. That was a pretty circuitous route to get to them. Thanks for sharing. This is so much fun.
Do you think that the US Postal Service would forward mail like this today? But the best part of your post, is of course, the marriage certificate and all that it represents: two people in love and wanting to share life together. I would say that Christmas was a little different that year.
Look at the comment timing!
You are both amazing. Keep it up.
